A leak in the department is suspected after a number of warrant serves go badly. Sonny and Rico accompany two other officers (one is Lou Diamond Phillips) on a warrant search when one of them is killed in an explosion. This prompts erratic behavior in Rico, who seemingly goes off the deep end, but it is all a ruse to flush out the leak.
